We have a five-point approach to ensure that care given to residents is of the highest standard.

We provide accommodation which is accessible, comfortable, clean, secure, safe and finished to high standards for dignity in care.

We provide person centred care and treatment based on an assessment of individual needs using a recognised Nursing Model. Our care and treatment is underpinned by Equality, Diversity and Human Rights.

We recruit staff with the knowledge, skills and experience to do the job for which they are employed. Staff have regular supervision, appraisal, training and development to ensure they are competent to deliver safe care and treatment.

We aim to promote health through nutrition and hydration ensuring meals are the highlight of the day. Our catering staff provide meals that are wholesome, nutritious offering variety and choice to meet people’s individual needs. We cater for special diets and as well as where appropriate meals for various ethnicity as may be required.

We aim to prevent social isolation and promote mental health and wellbeing. We employ Activity Co-ordinators dedicated to providing a range of leisure, social and recreational opportunities according to people’s individual needs and assessments.

EMBRACING TECHNOLOGIES

Technology is right up to date, with free Wi-Fi for all residents and visitors, and systems for the residents to use to keep in contact with friends and family throughout the country and worldwide via social media, whatsapp and Skype. We also have telephone points in all rooms and Sky channels and Netflix in all the lounges
